You know that feeling? The one where you know you should be doing something extremely important that will affect your future in a big way, buuut you just don't wanna right now, okay?! And then, the more you avoid it, the worse you feel; and the worse you feel, the less you feel like doing it; and so on and so on. Yep, that feeling.
It's been there, nagging at me for the past couple of months. But this time, I just don't get it. The thing I'm putting off doing, is the thing that I've been wanting to do since sophomore year of college. Well almost — it's the thing that will get me to the thing. [Whaaat? Sick reference bro!!!] (If you don't get that reference, please stop reading my blog. LOL. But seriously.)
But I mean yeah. What up with that, y'know? Like this thing I wanted is finally here. I am one step away from it. Why am I paralyzed? Is it fear? I don't know...if this is fear, it's unlike any I've known. I refuse to believe it's laziness. I would never do that. Would I? Is it self-sabotage? I often suspect foul play, but again: Would I? Yeah I probably would.
